Did you know your egg color is not correlated to nutrition, how big your chickens are, nor the color of the chicken?

Egg color is determined solely on genetics. However, you can tell which chickens lay which color eggs based on the the color of their EARLOBE!

Yes! Chickens have lobes too. Lobe color varies by breed of bird, ranging from white to black lobes. White eggs are exclusively laid by chickens with white lobes, while dark-lobed chickens lay darker shaded eggs.
