Hello to everyone!
I lost my tutor in my web stuff and now I am flying solo after over a year of being coached. A big thank you to David for keeping me accountable to doing my social media duties. So here we go!
The solar project
Well (and the pun is intended) I had to repair the water system for the farm. This entailed removing the old pump, inserting a new casing inside the old steel 8" casing with a plastic 6" casing. With the guts of the water system out I replaced the motor

Good day All
Just a note we are planning to have a Pomegranate Party on Saturday, November 12th 9-4. This will be a U-Pick event at which we will have a couple juicers set up outside so you can make a mess here and not at your place. Great idea, yes? Bring your own bag for picking, clippers for cutting fruit, your favorite knife for splitting the fruit and some containers for juice. Oh old clothes you don't mind getting stained! The U-Pick fruit will be 1.50/pound. According to the Farmers Almanac we should have great weather, so plan on having a great time here on the farm.

We had a busy week here on the farm look at what is new! This is just one event that has happened on the farm. Baby pigs are just the cutest! Did you notice the strips? These are Mangalitza, Berkshire cross piglets. Mangalitza Hogs are on the Slow Food Arch of Taste a site that promotes heritage breeds and seed preservation. If you take a look at the video you will see how fast the little pigs are ready to move around and eat. Just amazing. Have a great week
